Sweet. Lot's of great music here that is for sure.
You mentioned in an earlier post that you are an American..... where are you from in the US and what took you to SA, how long etc?

Not sure about Florida but my favourite thing about living in NY was seeing big bands in small venues... caught Audioslave at one of their first concerts in a really small place, as well as Mike Patton, and the brothers Robinson...
Second favourite was the sheer number of really great unknown/about to be discovered bands playing every night.
Festivals, meh, but hitch a ride to LA for Coachella if there's a good line up. Deftones are going to KICK. Around the Fur still buzzes me!
Why Florida again? Other than the good weather! (Never got down there so I have no opinion either way)

I find it hilarious that the metal bands you consider good I completely can't stand ? You'd most likely hate the one's I like ?

Yeh I find the metal I do like is not to popular in SA... Baroness, High on Fire, Mastadon, Dillinger Escape plan (who I came to love because Mike Patton did a EP with them ? )
Florida is just one of my favourite places in USA, nice weather, humidity is intense, the beach is wight here, family near by, and a good band scene) And some nice small venues about 5 miles from me, and alot of bands
