Bob-Dubery
Greetings from TJs. The PA is set up, we've started the sound checks, and it is already apparent that I will not have the loudest footwear tonight.
Take a bow Warren

The Hinds Brothers are sound checking

Ready to rumble

Warren up. Doing a great job. Bright red shoes - takes the heat off of me.
Bob-Dubery
Warren done good.
The Hinds Brothers on now. They've dedicated their set to the memory of Syd Kitchen. Great harmonies.

In the house are Squonk, Stratisfear, Fingerpicker (manning the desk), yours truly & of course Warren.
Bob-Dubery
Ok. Hinds Bros did a fab set. They are at The Radium on Saturday with Laurie Levin - so there's a good double billing for you.
Now up: Bruynstrust - Richard "Saucetone" Bruyns & Mike Burger.
They start with a Muddy Waters tune & then launch into their own stuff.
Bob-Dubery
Singe will be happy to know there's some video recording going on. TJs are on Facebook so that's where the vids are likely to pop up.
Bob-Dubery
Bruynstrust doing one of their best numbers. The Inevitable Train Song.
Also known as "tits"

We have a somewhat abbreviated Them Particles now. Just Dax and Richard.
Yep THAT Richard. Doing back to back sets AND he gave a quick talk on lap steel guitar during the change over.
Bob-Dubery
Now the closing set. John van Nierop & Scott Baldauf. They usually play in Hugh Cummings band so tonight they have an opportunity to do the things they don't get to do. Great old timey stuff. Now doing a Bill Monroe number
aja
Haha bob...
Was a very cool evening, thanks for making it happen! ?
I really enjoyed the Hinds brothers, full of heart
Bob-Dubery
Aja sneaked in under the radar. All done & dusted. My thanks to all who came to listen, to the TJs club members who worked so hard, and to all the performers.

And ha ha! I didn't get to play but my guitar did. There was a pickup failure on Dax Butler's guitar, so he used my Morgan.
I got some photos but I don't know what the quality is like. So maybe there will be some evidence. I wish I'd got a close up of Warren's shoes.
OK... I'm off to saw logs.

Very cool updates. I think you should do this every time. But with pics! ?
Looking forward to seeing vids.
