Digitech Metal Master Distortion pedal

Hi Guys

Has anyone here got any Digitech pedals? Are they any good?

I made an offer of R200 for it, the seller says cool and I can test it out tomorrow and see if it's what I'm after. Any one else use much distortion? I have a Boss Metal Zone pedal,I don't know if I will notice much of a difference in any case, but I figured at this price and with a PSU why not?

i use a digitech reverb pedal. no hassles whatsoever an it works well enough.

I did some you tube searching and I can't find a decent review (the user comments are unintelligible as per usual as well, lol) so I'll have to test it tomorrow.

Just to add some food for thought, If you looking for a high gain pedal, I recommend the boss metalcore...its got a sweet tone, for me its the closest pedal to my peavey 6505+ high gain type of drive.

R200 for the pedal is a good deal!

Ok thanks I'll keep that in mind! If a metal core pops up I'll definitely check it out. I'm playing a lot of older stuff atm (early death,obituary, pestilence etc) so I'm looking for that kind of sound (Noise ?)

I've had a digitech MM and liked it a lot. Make sure you get the manual or at least download it as it does have quite a bit more info on the pedal that took me a while longer to sort out, I only had this pedal for a month and sold it on to get my metalzone MT-2.

One thing I didn't like was the EQ.......it also gave a bit more than average feedback when not playing. The morph feature is pretty cool though, you can get the sound of the digitech death metal pedal, so that would be pretty cool if you're into the old death stuff. The power supply is worth R100 on its own, (hopefully it's a decent one).

Sounds like a good buy.
