I popped in at Terry Distributors yesterday. They actually sell everything as singles! I just bought what I needed, because I didn't have Singe's address yet and Diep River is closer to him than Welgemoed.
The storeman took me
right into the stores and I even helped him pick stuff from the bins!!
A very pleasant experience in all, with a small exception being that they invoiced my toggle washer as a speedknob and charged me R14 extra. Ws can look a bit like Ks I suppose ?
They only take cash and I only had plastic. Serendipitously, they gave me directions to an FNB tucked away inside Mannie's cafe around the corner ?

I did this in the height of the Dec holidays and again this week and Llloyd replied within 15 minutes on both occasions. I mention this as I remember a thread discussing their service and felt I had to add my 2c.
List price of each tophat style knob was R31 in July '10 and R29 currently.

@raith - They sell the speed knobs you want (and the type in the pic below) in black or gold for R25 each.
WARNING: Due to their shape, the tophat style ones I bought are not easy to adjust while playing. Go figure on raith and selby's posts ?
