Martin Carthy, Dave Mattacks, Richard Thompson and Danny Thompson (an all star band if ever there was) backing Norma Waterson. Oh... and Martin and Norma's daughter Eliza Carthy on backing vocals.

Something funny seems to be going on in the solo - a face from Richard followed by some remark and a chuckle from Danny.

What say you? I think this is getting close in style to the Hot Club of Paris, especially the rhythm guitar and the solo.

Agreed. You'd need to double-time it though, it's a bit laid back for the HCP quintet. To be honest, not enough welly and dynamics in it for me. ?

Quite possibly. When I saw Danny Thompson playing with the RT Band he seemed to be concerned with only two things - trying to get the drummer to laugh and winking and blowing kisses at the ladies. Didn't stop him playing a blinder.
