Last year I got a '67 ES-330 body off ebay. It came as just a shell and I decided to set it up with some modern parts so you get a vintage guitar on a budget. It has an old refin to a wine red colour, which has aged nicely.Unfortunately the guitar had a back bow on the neck, but Foster van der Merwe did a marvelous job to rescue it. He ended up pulling the frets, levelling the board, replacing the inlays with mother of pearl and refretting it. Setup with 11's it plays like a dream.
The guitar has a narrow nut width, but it has a nice amount of depth to the neck making it very comfortable to play.
The parts are all modern variants including tonepros locking ABR, a Dr Vintage wiring harness and Lollar P90's. The end result is a great sounding guitar. I took it to practice and at those volumes in a small room I got insane feedback, but driving a good valve amp it has incredible tone. Through my old Deluxe Reverb you won't believe how good it sounds.

I got a PG for it, but the P90's are raised quite high with the spacers, so installing it will be a mission. I'll probably just leave it naked.
