This thread started something.

Bought Ampkit for my iPod touch.
Can't use it with guitar yet as I don't have the iRig / other jacks.
Unexpected side-effect: has sound demo's of all the amps & pedals --> has given me the best insight into what everything sounds like.

Bought the following from Planet Waves:
- Chordmaster: nice chord app; including simulator
- ScaleWizard: nice scale app; including simulator. But stopped working. Have sent e-mail to Planet Waves ☹
- TuneUp: a really nice tuner; including a seriously accurate strobe tuner!
- ProTempo: yet another metronome

Highlights: Ampkit & TuneUp.

Ampkit has a great tuner built in, however, the best tuner
for iSO so far is the polytune.

I am probably gonna download GarageBand for iPhone/iPad. I saw the demo video and it looks pretty cool. It also has a four track recording app. Just have to wait up to three weeks for the irig though >☹

Anyone know of a DIY solution that works with the iPod docking port rather than the headphone jack?
