There's a funny little story about Keith Richards at a Stones pre-tour rehearsal. There are guitars all over the place so that Keef 'n Ron can try different things and see what suits their needs best. Keef goes through his usual guitars and isn't quite happy with them. So he picks up some axe he hasn't seen before, plugs it in, tries it out and decides he likes it. So he says to the roadie "I quite like this one. Find out whose it is and how much they want for it or if they'll lend it to me."
And the roadie says "Keith... that actually is one of yours."
Keith gets given so many guitars that he can't keep track of them.
