Norm is correct. The Fender back-plate, both MiM and MiA, are the same, and to (my) measurements 93mm x 145mm.
The Squier, and most other copies, have the smaller one 88mm x 138mm (my measure).
I have found these differences to be consistent across all strat mods I have done. Mighty Mite seems to only do the smaller one, and you need to get the Fender replacement plate for a "real" Fender (so to speak, no offence meant at all to Squiers).

Bothners stores usually stock both Fender and Mighty Mite, depending which axe you have.
