Ran across this while I was researching the Godin:
Plays drums With his feet, using a Roland PK-5 footpedal (designed for MIDI organ). The rest (upright bass, electric piano and guitar) are all coming from the Godin. Plus he does scat vocals over the top.
Here's a guy using a PK 5 more traditionally, triggering bass sounds. He's also got a hi hat and a kick drum pedal/snare combo on his left foot. Interesting use of a harmoniser (AKAI) on vocals too:
I've considered a small kick drum (
a la Mumford and Sons) or MIDI kick trigger, but the moment you use both feet (even for guitar pedals), it means you have to sit.
