Well, I can play guitar, tambourine, triangle, eggshaker, vuvuzela and the fool....
Keira-WitherKay
well obviously guitar ( electric and acoustic world music ( flamenco/african/jazz/ect ect)
bass both electric bass, and acoustic upright bass........
keyboards /synths .....piano just a bit but not a mainstream pianist ( as in i would not play it on stage ) but a good keyboard player and done that on stage
percussion all varieties including drum kit and various latin percussion
and all of the above except piano playing as in on a grand piano(i'm more of a keyboard player ) . i have done professionally live on stage or in studio sessions
and i have messed around in studio and recorded some banjo and mandolin parts but not gonna call myself a banjo or mandolin player ? i use more guitar technique than the genuine players do
**** ps i do believe that once you can play one instrument ...... and know enough theory of music you can apply that theory to enable you to play any other instrument all you need to do is learn the mechanics of the instrument ....so if you can play one instrument you should be able to play others

Bongos and acoustic or electric guitar and bass too. My very first instrument was a Ukelele but I doubt I ever played a proper chord on it. :-[
During school days there was a thing we called a jewish harp which made boing boing against the teeth... and of course while I play guitar on "San Francisco Bay Blues" I play the kazoo. ?
PeteM
Guitar, electric bass, percussion, keyboard (enough to play simple synth parts), trumpet, flute, blues harp. Like Keira, I've also played a bit of banjo (4 string rather than 5) and mandolin.
Seventhson
I can play bass.

I've played bass live a number of times. But I'm no bass-player. No good at it.
I've made some start on learning bluegrass banjo - the fast finger picking style. But I decided to concentrate on my guitar playing for a while. Also the banjo was an appalling POS (Hondo) that was, I believe, retarding my playing. I'd really like to get a good one this year and begin working it up.

ola. i included bass and piano. when i say i can play bass, it means i have owned a bass guitar and a small practice amp in the past, have been for a few lessons, and that's about it. i would never consider myself a bass player by any means, without a good deal more instruction and experience. from a piano perspective, it is my first love as an instrument, but i do prefer playing guitar, and i think i'm quite a bit better at it. a bit of a contradiction, perhaps, but that's my musical makeup.
if i may, i believe playing the piano and being a keyboardist, as musical disciplines, are two different beasts.

p.s. if there's one instrument i'd really like to have a bash at, it would be the 5-string banjo. if only to be on the other side of dueling banjos for a change...

I have added the option for other guitars, as well as specified the woodwind and brass instrument examples!
If in doubt, follow the wiki link to see the list of instruments and where they belong! i will add it to the first post!

Thanks for that video vic! Its helped my triangle playing so much. I feel like a real pro triangelist.
Norman you should add vocals to the list. I play that too.

Nah... Anyone can "sing"...
Just look at Justin Bieber, Wiekus Van Der Merwe, Jack Parow.
Besides, while one needs control of the voice, i dont quite see it as an instrument!

Bass and drums.
I find it weird, I never used to be late for band practice when I was a guitarist, but when I played bass in a band, I was late almost every week. ???
