Advice on buying a mandolin.
pietersaayman
I'm becoming more and more interested in buying a mandolin, but I know nothing about it.
I would appreciate any advice on what to look for when buying a mandolin, maybe recommendations on makes and models, and also any tips on different tunings or online lessons/links to good websites, etc.
Please help ?
Ray

I have a cheapy Samick I'm doing a quick nut repair on for a friend - he wants to sell it. I think he said R850, but I'll check if you're interested. It's an A5 (archtop with F-holes) finished in a sunburst.
