SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!!

Its true. Wasnt there before he arrived.

Kalcium

I read it in the way of the intro song...where the cap'n asks a question and the kids all shout SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS! ...but thats just me ?

Norman86

Well, to be honest, i thought he made a spongebob shaped guitar with the guitar neck as his nose!
mind you, that can work couldnt it?!
after all, he does play his nose as a flute in the series ? lol!

DonovanB

Back plates are cheap. In fact I don't keep mine on anymore so if you feel that bad you can have mine...

I also thought you either painted your whole guitar like a sponge or made it a squarepants shape...

mity88

Ja,I was hoping for the YELLOW guitar with like bubbles and spongebob splashed all over the place...dissapointed with just that...lol,jus kidding,it looks quite cool, what did u use?

Norman86

permanent marker?!

singemonkey

Well, since that show had some of the best guitar playing that I've heard in decades, I think he's a worthy sigil to have on the back of a Strat.

OOOOOHHHHHH YEAH!!!!!
Now that's what I'm talking bout!!!

A spongebob guitar should be square >☹

Southpark vs. Spongebob guitarwise, it all depends what you like. Spongebob had great Hawaiian guitar, surf guitar, jazz - assorted craziness. Very much things I like to hear.

And lets not forget the the huge "Guitar tone through different mediums/densities" blowout on the cartoon fora :-\
