Would I need special pots for a Dimarzio X2n pickup or would my standard Ibanez pots be up to the challenge?
I'd really look into getting better pots than the ones that come equipped on an Ibanez, even in my prestige models the pots I took out were cheap chinese shit. Get CTS pots of some form - I'm a big supporter of the Dimarzio pots, but I'm sure all the other available options would be better than the current pots.
Any idea where I can grab some from?(Are the pots in this thread what I'm after?) I'm gradually going to swap out all of my hardware on my RG until it is all after market components. Going to be fun ?
I'm going to get my pup from take2.co.za 's USA import service, it's R450 cheaper with postage to my address than what my local music shops can get it to me for, plus their suppliers don't have stock and didn't offer to order it for me in any case.
