i owned a few morris guitars back in 80's they entry level copies ..... of sg's or les pauls or strats..... at the time i used mine but soon as i could afford it i upgraded.... so definitely not a collectors item BUT if you got it for free.way cool...... if the neck is still ok ....why no use it to "practise" your mod'ing skills....... so use the body and neck and replace the pick ups and electronics with maybe tone riders since they cheap but good pick ups , and new machine heads/tuners as i'm sure the tuners can't be of good quality but if i recall all the guitars even the budget ones were made pretty solidly and outa not top end but fair woods..better wood than todays entr level guitars..... so you might have a body and neck there and for maybe a bit of cash you could turn into an awesome partcaster ........ and have fun doing it along the way ...... and have after the mods a guitar that is prob better than any entry level instrument available today
