Satchurator + Toneriders on the way \m/,

I'm so chuffed, I've got a Satchurator pedal and Tonerider pickups on the way from AndreM ? As soon as they arrive, my baby's going in to hospital for a full setup and installing the new pups. I'm really hoping the new pups will clean up the tone on this guitar a bit and I can't wait to get her back after her setup. It's times like these I wish I had a super easy way to record so I could post the before and after here ? Miss the Korg now ?

i like the satchurator ...takes a bit of time to hook it up but does deliver some sweet tones.

surprised at just how cheap they are in ZA.

which guitar do you have now? i have found the toneriders to be a worty upgrade in any guitar i have used them in?

Singe, I've been playing a little more ? Yesterday I think I jammed for a whole hour. Was plenty fun ? Got the settings "right" on my amp, DS-1 and DD-3 and that's helped a lot. I think a lot of it had to do with me not "feeling" my guitar's tone.

ICM -> It's the Ibanez SA08LTD1 that I got from Matt a while ago. It's a helluva sexy guitar with usable tones but I'm looking for pups with more clarity. And, besides, since starting this forum, and since reading Alan's hotrodding thread, I've been meaning to tweak one of my guitars till it sounds "just right" ? So this baby's gonna be the guinea pig. (Don't worry -> I won't do any dangerous mods ?)

Keira, the Korg PX5D. It's a nice practise goodie that also acts as an easy way to record your guitar. Just plug your guitar into one end, plug the other end into your PC's USB port and record away.

+1 on the Saturator, Norio. I have one and I love it. A few weeks ago I got the Ice 9, and wow, do those two pedals compliment each other! Here is a clip of what they do ......... Distortion and OD ........

I also have the Ibanez Gemini, also a nice padal, but prefer the Vox stuff.

I too have teh ice 9 satchurator combo and its sweet..... i rate the ice 9 as the best single pedal i have ever played through imho.

What does it cost? Haven't watched the videos yet. Is it tube-driven? I'm thinking I need to upgrade my amp next. Maybe get one of those small tube amps like Bothner's had a special on a few years ago.
