And then maybe you can tell me if I've been so lucky or been taken. I have a little Micro BR for some months now because I want to record a bit. But I'm a lazy person and this hasnt happened. So last weekend I get the thing out and start messing about a bit. And I discovered that the onboard mic is a bit awkward becasue when you put it on a table it's a bit high and on a chair a bit low and I contorted so to get it in the right spot. So, I decided that I need a plug in mic. so I scouted around a bit. There is another forum where they talk pretty much just about the Micro BR I dont know why but they do. On that forum some guy who seems to know what he's talking about says the kind of mic you need is a plug-in electret microphone. and then he lists a couple. And one of them was a Sony ECM-DS70P. I looked around and see this thing going for between about 650 and 900 bucks depending on the store. And then I found a site called Dealspot.co.za and they've got the thing listed for 80 something bucks. For goodness sake it's like $59 on Amazon. So quick as a flash I ordered one. I'll have to wait 3 weeks though but that's alright, I'll just contort a bit for awhile.

That seems like an awesome deal, should it turn out to be legit, and I have no reason to think that it's not. However, if it's not, losing R80-something is not so bad, guys have lost thousands ...... for me, not a bad risk ......

As long as it has the right jack it should work fine.

I have done some videos on how to use the BR600 for programming rhythms that may help you. The Micro BR system is the same.

Thanks Donovan. I would like to take a look plse. You got them up somewhere? And yes Aubs, losing 80 is not bad and worth the risk. But you know what I always worry that maybe there is a typo and I was reading their site policy and it's a home run business after business hours and I dont want to benefit from people's mistakes. Not when they trying to put something together sort of you know.

Agreed. But if it was a typo, and let's assume they are honest people/business, they will let you know, and ask if you are still ok with paying in the diffs. So you have no need to feel guilty, but I understand where you're coming from Ray. We all make mistakes, sometimes in our favour, sometimes in theirs.

Except the banks, they always make "mistakes" in their own favour, never the customers'!! ?

The basic premise and operation is still the same. Except that with the BR600 you have a drum machine and can program your own drum patterns.

Thanks hey. I've had a go at some of the drums in the Micro BR but it's like the auntie in the gps always arguing.

Just remember you only have 4 tracks and 4 v-tracks.
