well to play devils advocate here....... surely if you bought your les paul and loved the tone /feel ect ..and prob thought it was better sounding than anything else in that price range.cos buying a les paul is not cheap of course i assume we talking Gibson les paul not a copy , so i assume lots of careful thought went into it ....... so if it sounds "kller" to you and you strip it and find it looks like this goth model singe posted why would it matter ??? surely if they even made it outa balsa wood and painted it would it matter if you loved the tone to start with , it's the same guitar ...... ?
