Replied saying cash only unless they're willing to wait for it to clear and never heard anything back
a friend of mine got caught out with his business like this. he waited for the money to show, it showed in the account, and the next day the money was not in the account anymore, the scammer payed a fake check at the bank, they approved it, until they found out it was fake, and just pulled out the money again.
the bank wont take responsibility for this.
the scammer got away.
you MUST wait for the money to lay for a few days if it is someone you dont know from anywhere.
just to make sure there is nothing funky going on.
