So nothing happens all day yesterday. Until last evening I get a mail from them telling me they are happy I subscribed and it's for 12 months and it starts with July copy. So I respond immediately and say now look here, you've got the money and I dont want to wait until July or longer for my first magazine. So nothing happens but today at 1.30 I get another mail from them saying listen, do you realize the benefit of renewing your subscription? All sorts of marketing stuff but reading a bit further on they like dealing in futures so I didnt get too worked up I just thought it's a bit strange and forward to suggest this before I've even read one of their mags.
But I left it at that. So I get home about an hour ago and in my post box (which is another story as well that got me quite sort of worked up) is a magazine - Acoustic Guitar. Less than two days? Nah cant be. But I looked at the thing and logged in using the customer number on the mailing label and stroos bob it looks like this is my first subscription. So I think that is pretty good if this is indeed the case. Funny thing is that the magazine itself has date May 11 on the cover and all thru the mag at the bottom of the pages. And this being the first day of April.
