Well, all the individual bits 'n bobs are DONE! About ready to begin assembly . .

All screws were replaced with either stainless steel, or new chrome jobbies . . ?
Now, something that seems to be popular here on the coast with the guys that don't use their strat tremelo at all, is to snug-fit a block of wood behind the trem counter-weight. It is also believed that this increases sustain, as the trem is then in secure contact with the body wood. Well, makes sense in a way . . . (I don't have it on my strat, but I have the springs pulled up real tight so that it is not a floating bridge, and then can still use the tremelo)
Anyhoo, this is what was used here before. . .
(if that's what the client wants, ....) I spent a good deal of time shaping and sanding a block of wood to snug fit behind the trem, .......
The springs are still used, just to ensure grounding continuity. ?
