Cape Town Forum Members Jam Session

LMinnie · 2008-09-18T15:56:26+00:00

Ok so if some of you guys missed the thread..I am currently organizing a get together for our CT members... We can utilise a place in Bellville called The Eye of Horus.. They play rock and metal and have big screen tv's (for the rugby). The owner is a metal head so he's keen but the group needs to be big enough so that he doesnt lose out.. A sunday after 1pm is good for them...maybe looking at doing some kinda open mike thing if there are interested party's.. There's bar's for drinks and a kitchen for those hungrier types...(I can recommend the "metal burger"). Lemme know who's interested so that I can organize with the owner, Ryno.. I need numbers guys... PM me with your details so that we can get rolling... Need to settle on a date and so on.. http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=9188836724 I'd like to see at least 10-15 guys pitch...I know kaapies are notoriusly laid back so lets see if we can break the mould and have a lekker session!!!!!

nick

was nice to meet up with a few of the other forum users, numbers were a bit few but we broke out the acoustics and made a noise anyhow. 8)

Well Guys Id like to thank everyone that came thru...

I'd call it a success if more than 1 person actually came so I was pleasantly surprised when there were 4 of us.
For those that couldnt make it ,you missed a great jam!

Nick, Manfred and Fritz..Thanks..
