To be honest with you, this amp sounds so good to me, that I can't say I've even thought about getting a bunch of pedals to run into it. At the moment I'm running a Boss DD3 delay pedal in the effects loop and it does what I need it to on the odd occassion when I want some delay, and seems to do so without colouring the amp's tone, which I like. I'm planning on getting a Dunlop 535Q at some stage, but otherwise that's about it.

I have to agree, when I heard this amp I reckon there is no effect necessary, maybe delay and wah but thats it

Not an effect, but I'm also toying with the idea of swapping 2 of the Celestion G12T75 speakers out of my cabinet for 2 Celestion Vintage 30s or WGS Veteran 30s.

Its of a dude putting a bunch of pedals into his AFD. I just want to maybe get an overdrive and maybe equaliser to boost solos maybe, more to give it a different sound for lead than to mess with the amps admittedly amazing tone!!

Anyway what overdrive pedals could be used with this amp? What would you guys recommend? I am going to
mess around sure but i'd love a place to start? I was thinking a Tubescreamer maybe but then after watching that video
I started looking at Fulltone pedals on the net.. because its a dirty amp already what would be better an overdrive/distortion
or just a volume boost?

Hey dude, why not. Would like to meet some of you other Durbanites too. I'm still dying to really wind this thing up too and so would happily drag it to someone's practise venue or somewhere we could really make some noise. I've also got a TSL602 combo and an AB pedal so am often switching between them too. Amazing how different they are.
