A "quickie" strat cosmetic mod!

Did a little cosmetic mod to a mate's Strat last night:

Just the scratch-plate, knobs, and pickup covers, and bob's your sister! ?

I think it looks way cool! (excuse the fingerprints on the "after" photie).

You got it spot on . . it is a mirror corner thingy! ?
My mate did that . . . he was keen on a mini trem-cover. It works well, for him.
He had a yellowed, old, single-ply, 8-hole scratchy on there. The difference is not as obvious in the pics, but wow, we were chuffed with the result. (Designed pre-mod with the Fender Guitar Builder). We knew a plain tortoise-shell wasn't red enough, this shure did the trick (thanks to Brian Noppe from South Coast Music Centre) ! cool methinks ?

Yeah, it's amazing what you can do to a strat - even a small variation produces a vastly different visual experience ?

The scratch-plate was from Brian Noppe's "South Coast Music Centre" (Shelley Beach, South Coast). He orders Fender and Mighty Mite stock from Bothners in CT.

Depends on what your body colour is. If it's a black strat then it'll look this
