Fill in change of ownership papers.
Get roadworthy certificate.
Go to licencing dept with your ID book.
You also need a copy of the ID of the previous registered owner. If you don't meet the deadline then you're liable for a fine, not much though.
Nice car, a friends dad races them on the local circuit...........his MG is a bit of a beast.
