Take2 or Tonefactor?

josh

Hi Guys
I wanted to know which website would be better to get the EHX NANO SMALL STONE PHASER. Tonefactor are selling it for R712 including shipping & Take2 are selling it for R906.
How long does Tonefactor take 2 ship?
Take2 normally take between 15 to 25 working days.
So if you guys could please help.
Thanx

Tonerider is a pickup company in cape town???
Could you mean Tonefactor???

josh

aggg my bad I meant tonefactor :-[

FruitarGeek

Well. Ive only ever used Take2 for PC related stuff, with the exceptional CD/DVD here and there. I love them. I highly recommend them. But, if you can get a cheaper deal elsewhere. Why not!

I've bought some gear trough them (TAKE2) Fulltone OCD, MXR Smartgate etc. I would also however recommend Pro Guitar Shop, have not YET
bought from them but FruitarGeek has and it seems he's quite satisfied.
Should definitely check them out - you won't regret it, especially if you spend $400+ on pedals.

I was going to order from proguitarshop.com but they dont sell the EHX NANO SMALL STONE. :'(

True. Very Happy With ProGuitarShop. There service was very speedily, and shipping was free (on $400). The customs took me by suprise, as it was rather pricy (about R1000) , but its a small fortune to pay. I still saved loads in comparison to if I had to buy the stuff here.

I've also had brilliant service from proguitarshop, both very large orders. The one arrived with a week and a half, but the other took longer, but that was because I ordered it over the Christmas season.

If you live in cape town you can get away without paying any shipping if you go and pick stuff up from them. Also no import duty and extra vat and things. You're going to wait awhile though.

With Take2 the price your order at is the total you will pay and will include duties etc.

This is probably not the case with items ordered from Tonefactor.

With Tonefactor I paid duties on my Tone Reaper 2 weeks ago of..... R40
Not Bad.....
And they ship fast

I've used both proguitarshop.com and tonefactor.com and been happy with both.

Customs is always a bit of a crapshoot - sometimes they hit you for duties (I once paid 33% on R1K worth of valves), sometimes you get stuff through without paying even VAT. Generally seems to average out though.
