SABC3 not show today and tomorrows matches

stu

I turned on the TV to check the cricket only to find SABC3 are showing a repeat >☹
A notice showed up saying they will not be showing today and tomorrows matches due to contract agreements. This is bull. Im so pissed off coz tomorrows match is really important.

Does anyone know the real reason.
Surely thier contract agreement should be to show all the cricket matches.

I dont have DSTV so Im going to have to listen to the radio ☹

SABC don't have 20 gazillion channels like DSTV do (not that DSTV program all those channels). For them to show an ODI cricket match means pushing a lot of other programming aside - and it may not be worth their while for a match not including SA.

I'd think the real reason is something in a contract - though not necessarily a contract with the ICC.

Right on ? Lucky bugger. I'm actually going to be in "The Bosch" later tommorrow. We should hook up for a dop hey ?

What a load of .........(insert word here)!!!!

It's been great having the TV setup at work for our staff and customers to watch the cricket - up until now!!!

What the hell??? The real exciting games come around and they're not showing them? ??? Way to go you SABC idiots!!!

BOLLOCKS I say (and no I don't support the bloody Poms ok :?)

What if our boys make the final? Are they going to show that game?

I would personally love to see the Indians (as much as I can't stand them) beat the living what-ever out of the Aussies
But alas, It shall not be ☹

Me too man. They stand a good chance to beat them too.

I heard the SABC is buying their stuff from Super Sport. So I would guess they dont have enough money to buy all the matches.

It wouldnt be surprised if they dont show the final.

Good thinking there.

Looks like the Aussies are struggling ?

Well Ponting showed how good he is. I think they can get 270ish which will give them something to bowl at.

lol, AUstralia self destructing a bit..

what an atmosphere

bye bye Australia...

the FORMER world champs

I thought they fought quite hard. 260 was not a score likely to win, but they worked hard in the field and Brett Lee bowled like a champion. They exerted quite a lot of pressure on India for a stretch of time. India won, but Oz made them work for the win.

Poor Ponting. On the winning side the last 3 world cups, now he's lost two matches in a row and is going home early - an unfamiliar experience for an Oz cricketer.

Yeh Bob, the Aussies had them fr a while with 62runs from 64 balls..

Then those 2 overs that went for 25odd runs ???

They just never recovered after that...

Yippeee..... now I think SA has a better chance of winning the WC. They always only chocked against the Ozzies!

Yeah. If you look at the "worm" graphs you can see how little there was in it for most of the India innings. At the end they cut loose.

Bob, dude. You sound like your sorry for the Aussies or something. Whats going on?

I just don't think they were disgraced, and I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that they fought hard when that's what they did.
