Nope. All major scales have the intervals T - T - s - T - T - T - s.
So I can work out that the Bb major scale is:
Bb
C
D
Eb
F
G
A
As long as I know that there are no semi-tones between B/C and E/F. So all I really need to parrot-learn is the scale step pattern.
Of course, having the above in your immediate recall memory requires that you memorise it. However, there are tools like the "circle of fifths" which help you to memorise this stuff a bit more easily. Plus, the more you play in certain keys, the easier it becomes to remember what the notes are. Bb, as an example, is one that I hardly ever play in.
