Does anybody know whether MP3 Rocket only works if you have an Itunes account? Or is it a File sharing thing. Do you have to open your PC to the wide world and then you can use it? I can't get it to work. ☹

From the disclaimer on the home page it looks like a file sharing app (the bolded "No files are hosted on our server" is a dead giveaway), and from the "Connectivity & Firewall" page I see it connects to the file-sharing Gnutella network.
I doubt you have to share your own files to use it, but you will need Internet access to download and will have to open the correct incoming ports on your firewall. And if your ISP blocks file sharing ports you won't be able to connect (most likely cause of problems in this country)...

- I'm new to this stuff so I'm just going by instinct and a few things I overheard. So because of that I think I'm going to skip this - suspicious of file sharing till I get a bit more savvy.
