josh Hello everyone I have just sold all my boss pedals except my Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal, Boss NS-2 Noise Suppresor(the old 1 that is made in Japan) & my CH-1 Super Chorus. With that money I have purchased a Korg Pitchblack Tuner, an EHX Nano Small Stone Phaser, an EHX Little Big Muff Fuzz, an EHX Pocket Metal Muff Distortion & an EHX Memory Boy Delay. So I need some help with pedal order. On my board there will be the Pitchblack, Memory Boy, Small Stone, Pocket Metal Muff, Super Chorus, Little Big Muff. So I would love to hear in which order you guys would put these pedals in. Thanx a Million!! ?
AlanRatcliffe Guitar > Pitchblack > Pocket Metal Muff > Little Big Muff > Small Stone > Super Chorus > Memory Boy > amp Experiment with swapping the Muffs around and also with putting the chorus before the drives - let your taste decide.
FruitarGeek haha josh. erm. Opeth666 ??? You've gone a radical shift from Boss to EHX. Whats next, EHX to Digitech? ?
josh Haha ja I know. But I'm sticking with EHX I love all their stuff!! Oh & ja I changed my name to Opeth666 haha lol!! OPETH is my favourite band \m/-_-\m/
FruitarGeek Cool. EHX is a great rband, but don't get to fixated upon them, there are other brands that offer other products that EHX simply can't contest with. That was always my problem when I started my effect pedal journey, I was naive and just assumed Boss pedals could fulfill all my functions. Basically they could, but I know if there are certain sounds I want i,e. Phaser, Fuzz, Wah etc I should look elsewhere. Even distortion. Although they do have one pretty awesome distortion pedal. My point being, don't expect EHX to have everything you need. But they are great. I am expecting 2 new pedals to be arriving some time very soon. You must post a pic soon
josh Yip I know. I Would go with EHX & MXR. MXR make great stuff & also I Love the size of their pedals! Oh & what 2 pedals are you getting?
josh ]FruitarGeek I was looking through all the pics that I have saved of peoples pedalboards & I found these 2 pics of this guys home-made HOG board. I thought it was a clever idea. ?
FruitarGeek I got them from ProGuitarShop.com Yea, the hog is quite pricey, but very much worth it, the tracking on that beast is amazing. Nice pedal board for the Hog there, unfortunately the memory switcher thing was out of stock, so I will have to get that at another time
