Tonedef Cement and brick dust is much worse than fag smoke, my friend. Ever since we started busting out walls and grinding bricks and whatnot, I've been coughing up my lungs every morning. And this is even with using a breather mask. I wanted to drop out the existing ceilings and install flush plastered in the entrance hall/dining room and lounge area, but discovered the existing ceiling panels are asbestos cement. We decided to leave well enough alone... ? Farkin' old houses >☹ P.S There's only one road to my lungs, might as well tar it ? (Yeah yeah, I know ☹)
Tonedef You know what breaks my heart the most though? If you look carefully in the background you'll see parquet flooring. This house has the most gorgeous parquet flooring underneath the carpets we ripped out, but the dipshit who installed the carpets made a right mess of it. Glue everywhere, nail holes for grip strips everywhere. Not worth the cost and effort of a refurbishment. Absolutely criminal. >☹
