symbolofmylife wrote Well, here mine. ESP LTD EC256. I did have the pickups changed to EMG-HZ's though, so they are black...also had the other hardware changed to black chrome....the most awesome guitar I've ever owned. Relatively lightweight, but KILLER tone.

This one fits the criteria for my Les Paul thread. Mahogany back, single cutaway, Les Paul scale-length.

cool that this fits the criteria i have the EC100QM and i second what is said above re these guitars , the neck is to die for....... and even the stock pups sound killer and the finish is something else........... however i must admit , myabe cos i play a huge jazz box 175 i find the body is too small for me to sit and play with it resting on my thigh ...... the neck is too low......... so even sitting i must use a strap and i HATE straps i originally bought this guitar to convert into a travel guitar till the wise words from the forum pointed out the difficulties....... but maybe i should think of just having the neck fitted to a bigger body cos the neck on this Ltd is way beyond what one would expect from a guitar at this price range........ if i can say it's a very positive neck .with jumbo frets and flat profile ......

unfortunatly this is a pic of the exact model and colour but not my guitar but itallows yuo to see the finish ( how they can afford to sell these so cheap i have no idea' cos i can't see where the corners are cut....... and as the above post said the tones are excellent too and i use mine for jazz so they also versatile...... and i would say could be used for metal/rock/blues/jazz . but i love that neck it just feels sooooooo right

My first LTD was a EC200QM (big brother of the 100QM, but the black finish and neck-thru construction and EMG-HZ's soap boxes. The EC200QM is an amazing guitar for the price (I think I originally paid R3k....). Lovely neck, tone, and just overall awesome!!!!

Mine looked like below: (how I miss it now...)

hi Keira
this is a fender telecaster Reissue 52,
it us US made, and the whole series name is actually american vintage reissue, with the same specs as tele 52 back then...

you gonna like this one, just picked her up today
from 1954 (!!!!)
sounds absolutely FANTASTIC!!!

Arjun Menon wrote Both lovely guitars. I've been eyeing a similar PRS myself, although i would change the tuners to locking ones.
I couldn't help noticing the bridge on the Ibby.
Not trying to be an @$$, but it looks like:
1. Your intonation might be off.
2. And your bridge is dipping very far backwards. The claw (holding the springs) at the back might need adjustment.

Check out jemsite.com for more info.

Thank you for the advice, and very observing eye.

To be completely honest, since I've gotten PRS I might have played once on the Ibanez. I should actually take it in for a full service, I don't know when last it was checked out thoroughly.

My '69 Tele.
This guitar was in pieces when I bought her, badly spraypainted dark blue by some amatuer, the finish showed terrible streaks of paint dripping/bubbling/orange peel..
I had her professionally refinished a couple of years ago at Andy McGibbons, they did a fantastic job. Also has Seymour Duncans (I still have the original pups). Refretted, new nut, new pearloid pickguard, otherwise all other parts 100% original.

I LOVE your Fender Bigsby Tele Costa... She soooooooo Purdy!!!!
If she was a gal... Well, you can guess :-[

Btw, she's a japanese model too?!

Thanks Man,,

Mika the better one came to show me his new guitar yesterday and I was threatening to sell her to buy a PRS custom 24,,,,,,and he said "no man, don't do this to me, I'll have to take a loan to buy her"..hahah,, but then I changed my mind..

Norman86

NOOOO!!! Shes a special one that! Especially with the Fender logo Bigsby! imo anyways!!
Rather just take out another loan for your PRS ?

Nice one Jacques. I'm a big fan of Parkers. Holding out for a P44 pro.

Jacquesg4j

Thanx Arjun! Yeah I really love that guitar and when I bought it I also checked out the P44... Some smooth tones out of there, and nice versatility as well!! And let me tell you it is a pleasure to play! These guitars are soooo light but not sacrificing the tone! LOVE PARKER!

Squonk

Geez just saw the Parker now!

Love the wood finish, Does this model have a Piezo?

Yeah the Piezo comes stock with it! If I could change something on it though I would remove the Piezo volume knob (the knob that is the furthest from the neck) and only have the 2 standard Tele style knobs on it. There is very limited space for volume swells on the magnetic volume side, not sure what to do about the piezo volume though! Maybe just take the tone knob off and just use the tone pot's pin to adjust tone!

Main reason why i'd like to get one. If i could afford it though i'd go for one of the pre-washburn era Fly.
Out of curiousity, what are the piezos on your P36 like?

Jacquesg4j

The piezos are really great and sound awesome through an accoustic amp or DI, it just sparks up your cleans or lower overdriven sounds a bit, also the piezos on their own sound as close to an acoustic guitar as you would ever get! I once did an acoustic show with my parker and the people could not believe than an electric could sound like that!! But yeah I suppose they sound like any other Fishman piezo would! I just received my Toneriders in the post this morning so I am very excited to hear what it is going to do, especially with the piezo/magnetic combo! I also find the piezos sound better with heavier strings... I use to use 10s but I tried 11s and it was a LOT nicer!
