Derailing classifieds

There seems to be a trend lately of derailing classified posts. It's not exactly fair to the seller to keep posting why you won't buy it, therefore giving others reason not to as well. If it's not helping to sell, rather don't post.

Mr T wrote they seemed to also notice the same guy doing that in their classified threads. Not mentioning names yet, but some of you guys might have also noticed this?

Now you have every GFSA member who has ever done this going..... "Crap is this me"
That includes me

While I'm unlikely to take a hardline approach to strict on topic "sales related" discussion only I do think it's down to the seller - it's their thread, so it's their rules. If you are unhappy about the direction discussion has gone in your classified thread, PM me and I'll take a look. I take a much stricter approach in the classifieds and if the thread owner feels hard done by in any way, I'll take it very seriously.

while we on the subject of classifieds.....any chance of sub groups in the classified section ..say

1. electric guitars
2.amps
3.acoustic guitars
4. pedals/outboard gear
5 PA gear (mixers/speakers /pafx units ect)
6.miscelaneous for everything not falling into a category

cos despite me being on this site almost daily.. but i often miss classified posts i wish i had seen ....cos i tend to have very specific "musical needs" so at moment i'm looking for a thinline tele ..... and still watching for a fender tube amp ( and yes i saw and was tempted by mika's bassman and the price was right but just too big and heavy for my jazz gigs) so i tend to want to search in categories.....not wade thru pages of ads for gear that i have no interest in ... on gumtree i just use the search function to specify .....

so just a thought maybe people will sell more if it's listed by category ....

anyway just a thought

If I included a small but muscle ridden bolivian child to carry it, would you ☹ ☹ ☹

It is a huge amp, but oh so great..... and for jazz, with my jazzmaster's (plural!!!!) it sounds great .....

but yeh its heavy..... and annoying.... ?
