All the Orange amps I've heard have done one job, but do it well - very much rock/hard rock amps, I generally think of them as Marshalls without the presence "fizz" and harsh upper mids. The orange cabs tend to have a really heavy low end (as do most of the amps too), so I think if some of the newer models have upped the gain, of if you use distortion in front, they will suit much heavier music too.
200W is a bit loud, probably designed more for the downtuning crowd. Honestly, these days most places you won't get to really wind a 50W, and if you need more, just mic up.
VV has the Tiny Terror which is a great little head crunchy rock drive and a very nice clean tone. Francis Viviers has an old OR120 120W Orange head - and he was thinking of selling it. PM him if you're interested.
