Obviously the pis never do justice to what they really look like, but for one or two people who have "met" the twins, including myself...... an absolutely stunning pair ..........

The Tokai was PERFECT out of the box...... playabilty, tone, etc. just awesome!!! Period!

The Gibson was a bit "sticky", the action was a tad high and the frets were not "even"........ "Plekked", go figure...! but the tone was pure ES335.
So yesterday morning I took it to my tech, we spent about 4 hours doing a fret-dress, smoothed out the frets, he filed the nut to perfection for 10s, and polished the fretboard......so now........I have complete perfection....... the guitar is SILKY SMOOTH and plays like a dream....... pure happiness, pure 335!!!

Congrats. Your guitar collection may be the most awesome in the country. All quality guitars.

I have to object given the demand for comparisons. The Gibson's red! People will obviously think it goes faster! >☹

But seriously. I'm also interested in the comparisons. They're made in different factories to different specs. They'll have taken different decisions. For example, neck profiles? Unplugged sound? These are the things I want to know about.

Aubs, you'll need more like a year to play all the guitars you've got.

Oh, BTW, if you ever want to get rid of a few (especially the PRS Custom 24, that burst tele & the Ibbys)..i know this indian chap in Cape Town who can happily have it taken care of.
