Anyone have any suggestions on a reasonably priced tremolo pedal... :-\
I need to look at getting one for the album launch as we've used tremolo on the album production through use of a a plugin.

Or the MXR unit. Avoid Boss on this one. One of their lamest pedals.

Cheap - Boss TR-2 with a "volume fix" mod
Medium - Voodoo Lab Tremolo
Expensive - Monster Effects Swamp Thing or T-Rex Tremster
Me, I'd probably go for the Voodoo Lab Tremolo - flexible, toneful and true bypass. Can do both the opto and bias types of trem and has a good range of speed.

Just a note on Boss, they fixed the volume dip issue in a revision, still under the same series name. But you wouldn't know without opening it if you got the new one or the old one.

Ooh, almost forgot the Lovepedal Babyface Trem. Medium price range ($139), small footprint and very toneful...

I liked the Swamp Thing and the Bad Cat BFD (Blackface deluxe) tremolo. But I got an option to get the babyface and I bought it and it sounds beautiful. And is minute. It's so small you could lose it. As a consequence it can't use a battery.
Just bear in mind that the level and intensity are internal trim pots that have to be set and forgotten. You have a teeny switch for wave form and a speed knob. Might be ideal if you need it for one song though. Or if, like me, you're going to use the same level of trem on various tunes.

Earthquaker Devices hummingbird, really it one of the best trems, and $145...... which I know maybe a bit much but you will keep it forever and it will be you prize and joy.... plus then you can tell us how cool it is and make aus jealous.
