giggsy Just did the online tracking and see its been loaded into the courier's truck. How am I going to get any work done until it arrives? >☹ Got it! And in line with the rest of my guitars, its not a Gibson or an Epi, a Fender or a Squeir. Hell, its not even a Cort, Ibanez or a Jackson... It is an... AXL Badwater Eldorado imported from the States - as you can see from the quick photos I took, its been 'relic'd'. Setup right out of the box was spot on,, its stayed in tune all morning and its dirrrrrrrrrrrrrty sounding (as you would expect from its appearance - perfect for some Jack White style riffs). I'm in love with it and I've decided to give myself the day off to play with it :-[
[deleted] Nice! Congrats... Snap by the way... I also got a new guitar this morning ? Those of the regulars will know which one... wooooooah its something you have to witness in real life.. the neck... ? is the best I have EVER seen..
[deleted] Actually, I really like the look of it. But "distressed" doesn't quite encapsulate it. "Etosha", maybe.
giggsy Stratisfear wrote "relic'd"? "RELIC'D"?! You, sir, are the master of the understatement. ? It does take it to the extreme, doesn't it? ?
aja Stratisfear wrote "relic'd"? "RELIC'D"?! You, sir, are the master of the understatement. ? Why? All they did was lower it into a volcano for a few seconds.....
giggsy Thanks all - really chuffed with it Donovan Banks wrote What pickups has it got in it? Its got EMG 'designed' single coils
studmissile She sure looks the part, but how does she play, I've read rather mixed reviews regarding those AXL. But looks wise that guitar is the berries!!!!!! 8)

Quite heavy compared to one or two of my other guitars, but about the same weight as my SG. Got a low action, which is great and a fast neck - really enjoying playing it!
