Hi Norman, yeah had a bit of finger trouble when I created the topic. I spotted it as soon as I hit Post and went back and edited the Subject to make it correct, but the URL stays the same unfortunately.

Thanks a lot man. I saw a Youtube video where some guys tested a couple of 100w amps fully dimed. The AFD was the loudest of the lot at nearly 130db.

I don't know if I'd call the cleans an issue. I'm sure its not specific to this amp, but rather common to many older single channel Marshall amps. For my purposes I can get it clean enough and to be honest I prefer it's clean sound over the clean channel on my JCM 2000.
