Actually, I have to disagree with this. I say this because I've won one, and we didn't have anything
like the support some of the bands brought along. I also think the judges (which included Steve Fataar, someone you know to have integrity) were pretty objective and unaffected by the rent-a-crowd response. I suppose it depends on the format.
