I am thinking of getting a tattoo.

I have been thinking about this for four years now. And I think I want to take the plunge once I have cash. So I have a fear of needles ???

I am thinking of getting a tattoo.

Friend had huge "Judge Not" across his belly... except inthe Germanic style it looked like "Judge Nut". Got a lot of friends with a lot of tattoos, my feeling is if you're going to get one on your arm, do a whole sleeve (seriously). Or spend your money on music instead.

My advice to you is to wait a couple more years before you do this. I'm not cautioning against getting it done - the missus has a tat that is very special to her and I can relate to that.

However, she got the tat late in her life, to represent something that meant lots to her.

Wait till you got a couple more miles on the clocks. You'll have a more meaningful tat that will go the distance and not just be something that simply becomes part of your furniture, so to speak.

Wait till the time is right. The fact that you're not sure what to get, means that you're not quite ready for it yet . The day you know exactly what you want, that will be the day to start considering it.

have a tattoo now of an elastic band.. then it wont look so bad after u gym

Exactly, if one was to do something some people view as inherently pretentious, might as well do it whole hog. Or maybe not. I think i just prefer large scale tattooing than smaller pieces...

I'm also in my tweens but the reason I won't get one is because I KNOW there will come a day when I get tired/regret having one.
The other thing is it looks hip when you're young but when your 40/50 something and not Lemmy or some other rock star,
having a skull 'n roses tattoo on your chest is just not going to be hip anymore. (At least that's how I see it).
