Just please dude, remember tattoos can make you look cooler if:
1. you plan each as part of a whole. Too many people get one tattoo like this, one like that. Donald duck in black and white next to a flaming skull in colour. You end up looking like the doodle pad next to the phone.
2. you check the spelling if you ever have writing. Don't overlook this. You will look like a total dick if you have, "Born to loose." tattooed on your forearm.
3. you don't get the flavour of the month. Butterflies and barbed wire around your bicep make you look like you don't have an original thought in your head. A pure follower of the crowd. "I need a tattoo? Let me check. Yes. I'll take uniform 3, heavy metal guitarist."
4. Aesthetic sense isn't something we're born with. A good idea might be that if you know any artists (like, people who studied fine art, not people who doodled pics of big-breasted women in chainmail bikinis in their school notebooks) or a graphic designer, run your choices by them. They don't
choose the tat. That's up to you. They just stop you making some hellish error that will see you laughed at across the internet.
5. If you get anything in an alphabet/characters you don't understand, make sure someone you trust like your mother, who does understand them, checks them out. Yeah most of your friends won't care that you have, "Instant milk" tattooed on you belly - because they too believe it says, "courage and strength," but when the Chinese girls are laughing at you at the beach, you'll feel a tool.
6. Go to someone who can really draw. Not kinda draw. There's a world of difference:
Basically, 5% of peoples' coolness is enhanced by tattoos. The other 95% look stupider for it.
