I don't know about you guys but I love the MK series and it looks like they're going back to their roots in MK9. Back to 2D play (but 3D rendering) and the old scenes and players we're used to including Shao Kahn, Cage and some others. Checkit! ?

Dude I was like 4 when the first one came out? And I did play it on the year it was out?

So I am amped. mk3 was my fav.

Except it did not of my fav character scorpion. Sub-zeros brother was cool and striker,also liked nightwolf from mk3.

You woulda thunk these characters would have been dead by now. They should call it Immortal Kombat. With an "Immortal Wombat" PSP platformer offshoot syndication.

Back in the day when I had my Sega mega drive I had MK 1,2,3 and Ultimate until it grew legs and walked out the door with some other things... But I'm so sick of Tekken, time for some old school MK!! On PS3 too ?

Ok got it on the weekend. Awesome game. Also there is a story mode that is from mk 1 to mk 3.

There is a tournament on 7 may at bright water in randburg. R35 to enter and the registration starts at 10am-12 am. Aslo it ends at 10pm.

So I am entering. Smoke FTW!

Mmmm, I might take a look at it. I've always like fighting games. I had Street Fighter 4 on the XBox 360, but could just not get into it.

Tekken on my PSP is loads of fun as well.

I have so many other games I need to finish first in any case. Mass Effect 1, Tropico, Dirt 2, Assassins Creed 2, Red Dead Redemption. And as of late Splinter Cell Conviction.

I don't do fighting games, my poison is FPS and RPG.

As it happens I'm down with a bad case of xbox-itis at the moment. Guitars have lain nearly untouched for two weeks as I made my way through Crysis 2, Vanquish, Portal 2 and currently hopelessly addicted to Borderlands. (As you can tell from the rings under my bloodshot eyes HAHA)
