It depends on whether the buzzing is on the fret because you are not able to press down on the string since it is too flat, or whther the buzzing is over the front of the fret like you say. Maybe your hammer technique is not right? (no offense). The fret top radius should be sorta same as the width maximum.
The frets still have plenty of height in them. But they're definitely not as pointy as they were before. I didn't profile them properly, I just used a buffing block to smooth the hard edges that resulted from the filing. So it's sort of curved very gently, but mostly flat, really.
I know I didn't do it correctly, I just wanted confirmation on whether flat frets cause this sort of buzzing.
As for technique, I've got no idea what you're referring to. I just bash the vibrating string. It now buzzes whether I bash hard or soft. It buzzes the moment it makes contact, regardless of what I do. Just a short little buzz before it sounds clearly, but it spoils the note.
