Good stuff Andrew, and no harm in going more commercial - you have to make a living at it to be able to do what you really want to. Sell CDs based on the singles and sneak some good stuff in there too, get them to the shows with one thing and at some point in the set hit them with some more accomplished playing for personal satisfaction - edjumicate the little buggers to like what you like.
Some recognisable influences that will make it resonate immediately with a large audience. You do need to concentrate more on working in vocal hooks, but the music is mostly there. Synth sounds are sometimes a bit too eighties and sound a little out of place, but that's easily cured. A label will also like the fact that you are an accomplished musician who can change with the trends - most of the artists that come up within a style tend to get stuck in that style and are consequently left behind.
Excellent recordings as always. Your "rough" is impressive. What are you using for drums BTW?
It's
your Baja Tele now. Don't sound so surprised - I told you so! You thought I fibbed just to sell it?

It's the one thing I do know a
bit about.
