Hmmm ok this is honestly the first time I've joined an online community or forum ? so hi, my name is Thorsten and i've been playing guitar for about 7 and 1/2 years. I love metal, from stoner metal like opeth to melodic to simply brutal (bloodbath). But i also love the old school stuff like ZZTop and Deep Purple etc. Been focusing heavy on my lead capabilities over the last year, but all in all just love playing. Currently busy with a cover band because the money is good but hope to start an original project early next year. I live ESP guitars, and currently play on a ESP LTD MH-1000, I love seymour duncan pickups, they simly rock. Don't have much in terms of amplification (Ibanez Valbee ?) but it does it's job. Dream Amp....MESA Dual Rect or Hughes and Kettner Switchblade. Hmmm lots of money. And the gt8 is currently my source of effects. What do i think about it? It's useful but for live performances i prefer stomp boxes. No matter what you do, FX-Pedals always sound a bit digital. Anyway thats me. Later

ah no lol, those were at sangrias, a local pub here. we're kind of using it as more of a practice venue. to get tight and stuff. like they say...one live gig is worth ten practices in the garage ?
