I'm a big fan of amplitube Fender. I'd very seriously consider getting a second-hand ipod touch for this. The perfect practise tool that can fit into your guitar case. Plus, if you can provide power to the ipod/iphone while using it, it might even make for a handy backup system if your amp dies.

Nice that they provide an overdrive which the original amplitube Fender lacks. For those of us who can't live without a tube screamer. That tape echo on the PC version is the best tape simulator I've heard - wish it was available as a pedal. The spring reverb is also the best in it's class but it hasn't been included. Too processor heavy perhaps.

I did download a copy for my PC and it works very well , I still need to play some more as you have too many choices on hand

AmpliTube Fender for PC looks awesome...

I have only one question. (hypothetical of course)
I now want to play on my virtual rig, and hear my sound while im shredding up a storm...
What do i plug into? a normal guitar amp or a PA system?

And how the heck do you plug into your pc? What interface do you use? I see an interface is supplied with the studio version, but not the "full" version?!
So what would you use in that case?
a 6.3 mm mono to 3.5mm microphone jack?! ???

yes its a stereo 3.5mm from iPhone to line-in on your PC or 3.5mm to 1/4 inch into a mixing desk and then mono out to your amp
