This is normally the point in time when I bitch slap myself out of bed, setup my gear and make coffee. Then hit record and attempt at capturing it, sometimes this does lead you to not sleeping till like 3am which makes work the next day unbearable - but you're a musician and this kinda thing comes with the territory, you just have to deal with it. ?
