Bugera Amps Quality

Hi guys, I've been looking around for a valve amp for a bit now, and I've recently come across Bugera Valve amps that are selling at new prices that are suspiciously cheap...
Like the bugera V22 is only R3000 for a 22W valve amp brand new...and the 55W head is R2800...
Still have to pay shipping on top of that, but still...
Are they cheap quality and bad sounding or are they just a genuinely good deal?

Hey Kalcium, I was looking at the v22 a while ago. What put me off is the guys at music connection saying they had a fair portion of them coming back for warranty repairs. In the end I bought a used Hughes and kettner edition tube for just under 5.

The consensus is this: Great sounding, unreliable, amps.
BTW, I'm seriously considering an Egnater Tweaker (15W) (R 5700 Take 2 Us Section).
Loud enough to gig with a 2x12 and also able to order overseas because the voltage can be changed on the amp from 110-240V.

Ah, thanks, I thought something had to be up with such cheap prices, still its a pity that something that sounds great is unreliable...I've heard the marshall class 5 is really good and I see you can get 1 new for R4000 which is not bad at all! Theres a guy selling 1 secondhand but he wants R2900 which i think is a bit much considering its secondhand, but i dunno is it?

That seems like a good deal. Just know that the Marshall Class 5 doesn't have a master volume, so if you want it to drive it will be fairly loud. As far as I have seen on videos, the Class 5 is great sounding tho.

I don't know if it says anything about their quality to most people, but Bugera amps are made by Behringer. It would be best to draw your own conclusions, with regards to anything in the guitar world it's best to educate yourself and then draw your own conclusions. ?
