I keep seeing people referring to John Mayer's personality as being "narcissistic". Is this really so?
I would be disappointed as I quite like his songwriting.

Beyond all belief. His nickname in the gossip columns is, "The Douchebag." Fantastic guitar player, blues musician, song-writer, but he makes me feel contempt just looking at him. It's pretty unfair considering some of the egregious things many other guitar heroes have pulled. But somehow being a douchebag in this context is bizarrely worse than being a racist or a child molester. Maybe because this stuff intrudes into his shows. He should play and sing, but he should be forbidden by law to speak.

Hey this song is actually called 'Pepper'. Great song!! I would post this too, and 'Shame of Life' perhaps. But haven't liked any others by them.

Yeah, this does sound a lot like Beck. Who came first though? I thought "two turn tables and a microphone" was fairly recent? Help me out on this, I'm a bit clueless.

I was thinking Odelay era Beck which is pretty much exactly the same time no? I think Turntables is on that... who knows who wrote it first, but I think I read in an interview that the Surfers were making fun of Beck with the song... could be wrong though.
