Wow Norman, that would be an almost impossible question to answer ....... it's like "How long is a piece of string?" Some people learn faster than others, and of course, it also depends on how much time one puts in. I would also imagine that if you got the basics, like chords sorted, you can pretty much play quite a lot of songs.
I think someone posted a video of about 10+ minutes of songs that only have like 4 chords in them, and there must be thousands, imagine how many songs you'd be able to play in a week, (if you knew the tunes and the lyrics)........etc. AHHH ..... found it! So you get the idea?
However, to improve your skills, you wanna get past that 4 chord stuff...... Not that there's anything wrong with playing them...... ?
